Inscrr. up to the end of iii B.C. have only τέλεος, IG 12.76.39, al., and τέλεος, τελέως, τελεῶ are recommended by Thom. Mag.p.358R.; τέλειος first in IG22.2314.51, al. (early ii B.C.), freq. in Papyri (PCair.Zen.429.13, al. (iii B.C.), etc.), but the neut. used as Adv. is sts. τέλεον ( BGU903.12 (ii A.D.), etc.,Aτέλειον POxy.707.31
